Terms of service
These terms govern use of the Harmony Verify website and platform. Enterprise customers normally sign a separate agreement; where one exists, it takes precedence over anything here.
Last updated 30 July 2026
1. What the service is
Harmony Verify arranges for licensed clinicians to review AI-generated clinical output supplied by a customer, and returns a written assessment with corrections and a record of who performed the review.
2. What the service is not
Harmony Verify does not practise medicine and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. A review is an assessment of an AI system's output; it is not a clinical opinion about a patient, and it does not create a clinician–patient relationship between a reviewer and anyone.
Clinical responsibility remains with the treating clinician and with the customer deploying the AI system. Verification substantially reduces the risk of an incorrect output reaching a clinician. It does not reduce that risk to zero, and nothing in these terms should be read as a guarantee that it does.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for what happens under your credentials. Tell us immediately if you think they have been compromised.
- Accounts are for the organisation that opened them. Do not share credentials between people.
- We may suspend an account where there is a credible security concern, and will tell you why.
4. Submissions
- Accepted formats are PDF, Word (.docx), plain text and images. Anything else must be converted first.
- You must have the right to send us everything you send us, and you must de-identify patient data unless a written agreement says otherwise.
- You retain ownership of your submissions. We use them only to perform the review, and never to train models.
- We may decline a submission — for example where no reviewer with the necessary specialty is available. You are told, and you are not charged.
5. Pricing and payment
- Prices are calculated per case from specialty, complexity and clinical risk, and are quoted before work begins.
- Each accepted quotation generates its own payment page for that exact amount. A payment link is specific to one purchase and cannot be reused.
- Card details are handled by our payment provider and do not reach our servers.
- Quoted prices exclude tax unless stated. Where tax applies it is added at checkout.
Refunds
If a technical fault on our side prevents a review from being delivered, that review is refunded in full. If you believe a completed review was materially wrong, raise it within 30 days: a second independent reviewer looks at the case at our cost, and if the original review was materially wrong, it is refunded.
6. Turnaround
Turnaround figures are targets based on complexity and risk, not guarantees, unless a separate agreement states an SLA with remedies. Where we expect to miss a target, we tell you before the deadline rather than after it.
7. Reviewers
Reviewers are independent professionals admitted against the published criteria on the expert network page. Admission requires at least three years of post-qualification practice, a verifiable license, a named institution and a signed Expert Agreement. Reviewers are rated after each case, and an average below 2.5 out of 5 deactivates the account.
Reviewer compensation is set per case and disclosed before a case is accepted. Payout details are collected only inside the authenticated portal, after admission and after the agreement is signed.
8. Confidentiality
Each side keeps the other's non-public information confidential and uses it only to perform this agreement. Reviewers are bound by equivalent obligations under the Expert Agreement. This survives termination.
9. Intellectual property
You keep your submissions. We keep the platform, the rubrics, the pricing engine and the matching logic. Reports produced for you are yours to use inside your organisation and with your regulators and customers. Reviewed examples may be included in a licensed evaluation dataset only with the originating customer's written agreement.
10. Acceptable use
- Do not submit material you have no right to send.
- Do not attempt to identify or contact a reviewer outside the platform.
- Do not use the service to obtain clinical advice for a real patient in front of you.
- Do not probe, scrape or attempt to access another account's data.
11. Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and each side's total liability is capped at the fees paid or payable in the twelve months before the claim.
12. Termination
Either side may end an unpaid account at any time. Paid work already commissioned is completed and paid for. On termination you can export your reports for 30 days, after which the account and its data are deleted, subject to records we are legally required to keep.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are notified to account holders at least 30 days before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that date means you accept them.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Harmony Verify is incorporated, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
